Piano Study

Advanced piano study is open to all music majors in the Bachelor of Arts in Music, Bachelor of Music in Music Education, and Bachelor of Music in Performance degree programs. For students majoring in fields other than music, beginning, intermediate, and advanced study options are available. Please contact Professor Tomoko Kanamaru for requirements and more information.

Keyboard Skills Advanced Placement

Music majors in the Bachelor of Arts in Music, Bachelor of Music in Music Education, and Bachelor of Music in Performance degree programs (with the exception of students whose primary instrument is piano) are required to complete several levels of keyboard study, depending on one’s track, as well as the Keyboard Proficiency Exam.
