The College of New Jersey provides unique and robust opportunities for woodwind, brass, and percussion students. Whether a music major or non-music major, woodwind, brass, and percussion students have the opportunity to work with our world-class Artist-Teacher faculty and perform in concert bands, jazz ensemble, orchestra, and a variety of chamber ensembles. Given that TCNJ Department of Music is an undergraduate-focused program, woodwind, brass, and percussion students have increased opportunities to perform in many different ensembles, play leadership roles and perform prominent solo parts in each ensemble, and take advantage of unique opportunities like TCNJ Concerto Competition and Student Showcase Recitals.
Prospective students are encouraged to experience all that our program has to offer for woodwind, brass, and percussion students through events such as our annual Brass Summit, Woodwind Summit, Saxophone Summit, Music Major For A Day @ TCNJ, and Honors Festival programs.
