Theatre Minor

Theater students practice during a masterclass
Theater students practice during a masterclass

The Theatre Minor offers all TCNJ students the opportunity to prepare for theatre-related careers through academic, performance, and professional opportunities on and off stage.  Through a creative collection of courses, lessons, performance groups, independent study, and internships with local arts organizations, students can fulfill the required credits for this minor by cultivating their love for the performing arts. An audition is not required to enter the Theatre Minor, which students are encouraged to start no later than the first semester of their second year. Students will work closely with the Theatre Minor Coordinator to develop a unique course-sequence tailored to the interests of each student. Completion of the Theatre Minor requires five-course units.
