Justin Proffitt was appointed at The College of New Jersey in 2013 as an adjunct instructor for the Department of Music where his recent courses include:
- MUS 102: Beginning Class Piano
- MUS 103: Beginning Class Piano II
- MUS 111: Keyboard Skills I
- MUS 222: Keyboard Skills II
- MUS 233: Keyboard Skills III
In addition, he serves on the adjunct faculty at Westminster Choir College where he teaches piano secondary courses, while actively maintaining an independent music studio in the Princeton, New Jersey area.
Classically trained, Mr. Proffitt’s performing experience has ranged from solo piano recitals to various collaborative performances.
He has a Master of Music in Piano Pedagogy and Performance with distinction from Westminster Choir College. Mr. Proffitt continues to pursue his research interests by working toward a doctorate in Music and Music Education at Teachers College, Columbia University.
